Hi my name is Egon Warkentin and I am a husband, a father and an Opa. I love working with wood, build things, soccer, boating, motorcycle trips and growing our lavender farm, Sunrise Lavender Farm.
I have been in the local home repair, strata and commercial building repair industry for over 20 years. Growing up in a family of builders and trades men I was the youngest and exposed to all aspects of construction. My first career thought of 20 years was not a Carpenter but as a youth pastor. A career I am deeply proud of.
My second career almost 20 years ago was as a Carpenter.
I have apprenticed as a framer, trained as a painter, handyman and carpenter. Always ready to learn, new skills and techniques. After all these years my tool bag is pretty full but there is always room for another skill.
What have all those years taught me? They have taught me that folks just want to move forward with life.
